Position Summary   
PHASE Alliance is seeking a highly creative and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team. PHASE Alliance’s work environment is fast-paced, varied, and rapidly evolving. You will be responsible for ensuring PHASE Alliance’s brand presence (including websites, email campaigns, print and event materials, and presentations) is impactful and supportive of the organization’s mission. You will report to the Director of Development and work closely with all members of the team.

You will be responsible for ensuring PHASE Alliance’s external documents, websites, social media, and overall presence is websites are easily navigable and optimized to disseminate information and fulfill the organization’s mission. The Designer is comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, third-party libraries, databases, and web servers. They gather user requirements and design interfaces and systems, facilitating user engagement while configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting web servers. You will report to the CEO and work closely with all members of the team.


Responsibilities and Duties 
 
  • Design, develop, and maintain company website, ensuring functionality and user experience.
  • Create visually appealing and engaging graphics, illustrations, and other multimedia elements for marketing materials and campaigns that creates brand recognition and reach program goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance web design and graphic design skills.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and other designers on adjacent team to conceptualize and execute design strategies that align with company objectives
  • Design marketing materials including, but not limited to, email campaigns, event signage, mail campaigns, presentations, apparel and swag, annual reports, social media posts, and more.
  • Ensure the PHASE Alliance brands are consistently represented across all mediums and channels.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Maintain site/server security through up-to-date firewalls, protected logins, and updated code.  
  • Integrate tracking codes (analytics, remarketing, CRM triggers) via Google Tag Manager.  
  
Qualifications and Skills 
 
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualities and attributes: 
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience (5+ years) in graphic design.
  • Proven experience (portfolio required, link or attachment required) as a graphic designer, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in Figma and front-end web development platforms such as Framer a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design quality.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle a variety of projects across brands and programs
  • Team-building mindset and positive attitude
  • Constructively receive and solicit feedback
  • Willingness to demonstrate sensitivity in learning about trauma-informed best practices and how to use visuals in ways that support the healing and prevention goals of the organization
