We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation and delivery of goods. This is a full-time position. General schedule is 8am-5pm Monday - Friday in the office.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation and delivery of goods. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong data and communication abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations such as warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and freight carriers to optimize delivery schedules, payments and reduce costs.
- Track shipments and provide real-time updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including shipping documentation and inventory reports.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to transportation, delays, or damaged goods.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding transportation and logistics.
- Manage monthly orders to multiple retail locations in partnership with our 3PL provider
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with other departments to align logistics processes with business objectives.
- Help with Downeast general office business, including assistance in accounts payable tasks.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to manage and streamline operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations (preferred).
