Position Overview:
We’re hiring a Fulfillment & Supply Chain Manager to lead and execute core logistics and operational functions at Slickhorn. This role is a hybrid of strategic oversight and physical execution—perfect for someone who’s as comfortable packing boxes as they are managing inventory spreadsheets and supply chain logistics.

This person will be responsible for managing the full order lifecycle—from placement through fulfillment—and will take ownership of inventory management across all SKUs and packaging. They’ll also coordinate cattle supply to ensure production readiness, making this a critical cross-functional role with direct impact on our day-to-day operations and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end order fulfillment process, including physically picking, packing, and shipping orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging supplies
  • Coordinate cattle supply and production schedules to ensure product availability
  • Monitor and manage supply chain timelines and vendor relationships
  • Implement and optimize systems and processes for fulfillment, inventory, and logistics
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and support planning efforts
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks or inefficiencies
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the fulfillment area
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics, ideally in a startup or early-stage company
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Comfortable with physical work, including packing and moving boxes
  • Experience with inventory management systems or fulfillment software (preferred)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Passion for problem-solving and process improvement
Bonus if you have:
  • Experience in the food, meat, or agriculture industries
  • Knowledge of production scheduling or working with live supply sources
  • Startup or entrepreneurial experience
