Specialty Retail Account Manager

Malouf is looking for an Account Manager to help oversee a group of specialty retail accounts. This individual will support and assist the Territory Manager in developing business strategies to help maximize sales opportunities with existing accounts while building long-term relationships. This position requires strong attention to detail, a strategic mindset and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Responsibilities and Duties

Build and process orders in preparation for booking
Answer incoming customer calls and provide support and direction as needed
Help new and existing accounts reach their sales potential by evaluating trends to find opportunities for growth

Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our product
Deliver exceptional service daily
Problem solve any issues that arise in a timely manner
Identify potential cross-selling and upselling opportunities through daily phone and email interactions with customers
Travel may be required to conduct regional training events, periodic field visits, and tradeshows

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Self-motivated with the ability to recognize the relative value of accounts and prioritize accordingly
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time with attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
Ability to make quick, smart decisions with limited information
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook
Must be willing to travel when necessary
